J'espère que vous allez bien. Cette semaine, je vous présente un album consacré à l'habitation Clément en Martinique. Le terme d' « Habitation » désigne un domaine agricole avec ses plantations, sa maison et ses bâtiments d'exploitation. Située dans la commune du François, l'Habitation Clément réunit au cœur des plantations de cannes à sucre, le siège historique des rhums Clément, un magnifique jardin botanique ainsi que la Fondation Clément pour la promotion des arts caribéens, faisant de ce lieu un site culturel et patrimonial majeur de la Martinique.
I hope you are fine. This week, I present you a scrapbook dedicated to the habitation Clément in Martinique. The word "habitation" describes an agricultural domain with its plantations, its house and its farm buildings. Located in the town of Francois, Clément Habitation brings together in the sugar cane plantations, the historic headquarters of Clément rums, a magnificent botanical garden as well as the Clément Foundation for the promotion of Caribbean arts, making this place the main cultural and heritage site of Martinique.
J'ai découvert ce site au cours de notre premier séjour en Martinique et j'avais adoré d'où l'idée de faire un album pour mettre en scène nos beaux souvenirs. J'ai commencé ce projet il y a bien longtemps ... L'idée de départ était de mélanger aquarelles et photographies. Cela m'a donc pris pas mal de temps. J'ai enfin terminé et voici le résultat...
I discovered this place during our first stay in Martinique and I love it. That's why, I decided to make a scrapbook. I started this project a long time ago... The initial idea was to mix watercolors and photographs. So it took me quite a while. I finally finishhed it and here is the result...
